We are both doing our things. Jo-Ann is still in Canada doing whatever it is she does so I cant really say for her. I on the other hand I am STILL stuck in Valle de Juarez, Mexico. You can see where I am HERE.
So to bring you all up this is what we have done:
- “Had a Baby Buddha”- a 1978 Jeep CJ5 that we will use as our dinghy.
- Installed one more solar panel and controller, bringing us up to a max of 8 amp input.
- Lost an O2 sensor on the Buddha just sitting in the park.
- Purchased a new BBQ Coleman Q-120 to replace the warn out Magma (thats going to be converted into a propane fire pit)
- Replaced the toilet seat and cover and repositioned the actual toilet so it doesnt hit the wall and brake again.
- Put a new coating of roof paint on the Buddha.
- Baby Buddha got new shocks and will get new shoes before we head out Nov.
- Added a new 15 inch 12 volt flat panel TV to the bedroom.
An the To Do list:
- Polish and wax the Buddha and Baby Buddha.
- Repair the generator (putting out 150 volts @ 50 hz)
- Organize big time!! I’m trying to eat up what food we have to start with fresh stuff.
- Install a tow bar on the Baby Buddha.
- Downsize the tires and wheels on the Baby Buddha for towing purposes.
- Reseal the shower
the list actually goes on and on. But for now, its work for me and then Come Nov. 1st, we head east to go south and be in Belize by March.
For now thats all I have to say, Adios.
