Well, even though the navigator has failed to do her update from Ecuador first, I thought I might throw out some words just because. We left Mazatlan on Oct. 24. The first leg was pretty easy. First we stopped at Sams for some stocking up, then went to a tire shop and had new shocks and new bellows for the front coil springs put in. After that we had to get a valve fixed on the AC unit. Oops! And for dinner, Gary and Lois * Dad and Mom, treated us for dinner in Villa Union where we stayed the night in the Pemex parking lot.
It was not that big a deal and actually we had a great nights sleep. At 7 AM we were on the road with the Buddha sucking down 7 MPG. Guess we are a bit overloaded. We stopped into San Blas for lunch and are now sitting on a bluff 50 feet from the ocean in Los Cocos with the AC running. Nice place.
Tomorrow it’s off to Chacala and boon docking it. Till next time I can steal internet access, adios.
Ryan and Jo-Ann are "ex-cruisers" who decided to get off a boat and on to land. With a 27 foot RV and a 1978 Jeep CJ5. The RV Adventure that only happens in books. From Mazatlan, Mexico to...???, we hope to see and experience what only a few people have ever seen or done.
Hola Amigos,
Sounds pretty uneventful so far. Hope all goes well. We’re looking forward to being back in Mazatlan. Take care. Fair winds.
