About Us

Ryan and Jo-Ann are "ex-cruisers" who decided to get off a boat and on to land. With a 27 foot RV and a 1978 Jeep CJ5. The RV Adventure that only happens in books. From Mazatlan, Mexico to...???, we hope to see and experience what only a few people have ever seen or done.

Happy New Year

We are a bit late on the greatings but hey.. we are sooooooooooooo busy doing nothing. Well we are reall not just doing nothing. Ryan is working a bit and Jo-Ann is hooked on Jewel Quest again. Looks like we will be adding a 2.5 inch lift to the Baby Buddha (Jeep) due to a broken leaf spring. I think Jo-Anns bad luck has hit again. One good thing is coming out of it. After 5 years or so-ish Chad will be bringing this down for us so we will get a chance to visit. From the time he gets here next week till the end Feburary it looks like we will have company most of the time. All Canadians afraid the the cold weather up there.

Here are a couple of pics.. we took a walk on the beach towards Aventura resorts and wow!, one of the dirtyest beaches we have ever seen. Also VERY expensive. Notice the price of the Gin. Normally its 90 pesos. Well that’s it for now, back to doing nothing.

Paamul

We arrived!!! We are now parked in Paamul. Its a RV park minus the RV Park feel. These people who come here every year have created a “community” of RV’s stuffed under palapas. most you would have to destroy the homes they have built over their Rv’s. Its a bit strange and for me, just plane wierd. But whatever, it seems to work for them. You can buy one of these places from about 60,000 USD. Then pay the yearly rate of 6,000 USD for rent of the spot. CRAZY!!! Anyway, here are a few pics. Today we head to town to look for some basics we need, like a broom. We also need to hit the weber BBQ store for another hose to attach our new stove to a large tank. The outside kitchen will then be complete. For now, we shop, monday, its back to work for me.
